Effective from: 21/08/2026. Welcome to Vistra Browser ("Vistra", the "App", the "Service", "we", "us").
This English text is a translation provided for convenience. The Vietnamese version is the binding original; if the two differ in meaning, the Vietnamese version prevails. You can read it at Điều khoản dịch vụ.
By downloading, installing, creating an account, purchasing a package or continuing to use Vistra, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms of Service together with the Privacy Policy, the AI Policy, the Payment Policy and any other policies referenced in the App.
If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use Vistra.
1. About Vistra
Vistra Browser is a web browser that may provide features such as accessing and searching content on the Internet, translating text on websites, recognising and translating text inside images using OCR and artificial intelligence, displaying translations directly over content, syncing some data and usage history when you sign in, along with other AI, storage, personalisation or additional features from time to time.
Vistra is a tool that helps you access and process content. We do not own, operate or control the third-party websites and content you access through Vistra, except for content published by Vistra itself.
The fact that a website, link, search result, advertisement or piece of content appears in Vistra does not mean that Vistra endorses, sponsors or guarantees that content.
2. Eligibility
You may use Vistra only where such use is lawful in the place where you live or use the Service.
If under applicable law you are not old enough or do not have full capacity to enter into this agreement by yourself, you may use Vistra only with the consent or supervision of a parent, guardian or legal representative as required by law.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Vistra complies with the law, with third-party rights, and with the terms of the websites or services you access.
3. Licence to use the App
For as long as you comply with these terms, Vistra grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to install and use the App for lawful purposes.
This licence does not create any ownership right over Vistra, its source code, brand, server systems or intellectual property.
Except where the law allows, you may not:
- copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent or sub-license Vistra;
- reverse engineer, disassemble, decrypt or attempt to obtain the source code, algorithms, keys, internal APIs or security mechanisms of Vistra;
- bypass, disable or interfere with the payment, advertising, authentication, quota, access control or security measures;
- create or use a counterfeit version, an unauthorised modification, or an app likely to be confused with Vistra;
- use the Vistra name, logo or brand in a way that leads others to believe you represent, officially partner with or are sponsored by Vistra without permission.
4. Accounts and security
Some features require signing in, including signing in with a Google account or another method supported by Vistra.
You are responsible for:
- protecting your device, account and authentication methods;
- not letting others use your account in an unauthorised way;
- not selling, renting or transferring your account where Vistra does not allow it;
- notifying us when you detect signs of unauthorised access or use.
You are responsible for activities carried out through your account, to the extent permitted by law and consistent with the degree of control you can reasonably exercise over the account.
Vistra may require additional verification where it detects signs of unusual sign-in, payment fraud, account takeover, or behaviour that risks affecting the system.
5. Third-party content
Websites, comics, images, articles, documents, videos and other content you access through Vistra may be the intellectual property of other individuals or organisations. Vistra claims no ownership over such content.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right or an appropriate legal basis to access, translate, copy, store, process or share that content.
Vistra providing OCR, translation or AI processing tools does not grant you ownership of, or commercial exploitation rights over, the original content.
You may not use Vistra to knowingly infringe copyright, trademarks, privacy, trade secrets or other lawful rights of third parties.
6. Content submitted for processing
When you actively ask Vistra to translate or process content, the necessary part of that content may be:
- copied temporarily;
- captured or extracted;
- compressed, resized or converted to another format;
- recognised through OCR;
- transmitted to Vistra's servers;
- transmitted to the AI, OCR or technical infrastructure required;
- processed in order to produce and return a result to you.
You keep your lawful rights over your own content. You permit Vistra to carry out the technical operations above to the extent necessary to provide, operate, secure and troubleshoot the Service, consistent with the Privacy Policy.
Vistra must not be understood as acquiring ownership of content merely because that content passed through the system.
7. Translation results and artificial intelligence
Some Vistra results are produced wholly or partly by automated systems, OCR and artificial intelligence. These results may:
- be inaccurate;
- omit content;
- misread context;
- mistranslate proper nouns or terminology;
- produce unsuitable wording;
- differ from the meaning of the original content.
You should check the original content before relying on a result for anything important. You should not rely entirely on Vistra for decisions relating to medical, legal, financial, safety, contractual or entitlement matters, or any decision with serious consequences. Vistra providing an AI result does not constitute professional advice.
You can always review the original content by turning off or leaving translation mode where the corresponding feature supports it. See the AI Policy for more.
8. Prohibited conduct
You may not use Vistra to carry out or assist:
- unlawful activity;
- fraud, scams, phishing or identity impersonation;
- distributing malware or intentionally harming devices, accounts or systems;
- unauthorised access to systems, accounts or data;
- scanning for, exploiting or deliberately taking advantage of security vulnerabilities;
- denial-of-service attacks or generating traffic that affects other users;
- using bots, scripts, emulators, virtual devices or automation tools to circumvent quotas, advertising, payment or anti-fraud mechanisms;
- creating multiple accounts in order to repeatedly claim an offer, credits, a reward or an entitlement intended for one person;
- interfering with, forging or manipulating payment requests, invoices, transactions or purchase states;
- reselling, exchanging or transferring credits contrary to the mechanisms Vistra allows;
- exploiting the Service with abnormal traffic, or re-providing a competing service without Vistra's permission;
- collecting other users' data without authorisation;
- deliberately using Vistra to infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of others.
Vistra may use reasonable technical measures to detect and prevent such conduct.
9. Packages and credits
Some features that use server, OCR or AI resources may require credits — the internal unit used to determine the right to use certain paid features in Vistra.
Credits:
- can only be used inside Vistra;
- are not money, cryptocurrency, an investment asset or a means of payment;
- cannot be withdrawn or converted into cash;
- may not be resold or transferred unless Vistra allows it;
- may be tied to the account that purchased or received them;
- may carry conditions or a validity period, where this is clearly disclosed before you buy or receive the credits.
Before an operation that charges money or deducts credits, Vistra will display the number of credits, the price or the applicable pricing method where appropriate.
A new processing request may incur a new charge, even where similar content has been processed before, if the system must run OCR, AI or server resources again. Re-translating the same content may continue to consume credits if the system must perform a fresh processing pass.
The credits, price, entitlements and conditions of each package are shown at the time of purchase.
10. Payment, and no automatic renewal
Vistra packages and credits are purchased as separate, individual transactions.
Vistra does not auto-renew packages and does not automatically make a new purchase when your package, term or credits run out. To keep using paid features you must actively make a new purchase. Having previously bought a package or credits is not treated as consent for Vistra to charge you automatically in the future.
Before payment you will be given the necessary information, such as:
- the price;
- the credits or entitlements you receive;
- the payment method;
- the material conditions of the transaction.
Vistra records a transaction only after the payment system confirms it succeeded. If a transaction fails, is cancelled or is not confirmed, Vistra may not grant the corresponding credits or entitlements.
Details are set out in the Payment Policy.
11. Refunds, reversed transactions and payment fraud
Refunds are handled under Vistra's Payment Policy, the rules of the payment platform, and applicable law.
Where a transaction is refunded, cancelled or reversed, Vistra may reclaim the credits or entitlements granted from that transaction. If the account no longer holds enough credits to reclaim because they have been used, Vistra may take reasonable measures in respect of the entitlements relating to that transaction, to the extent permitted by law.
Vistra may temporarily restrict a transaction or an account where there are signs of:
- payment fraud;
- use of an unauthorised payment method;
- refund requests showing signs of abuse;
- unusual chargebacks;
- manipulation of the payment or credit system.
Applying these measures does not remove the mandatory consumer rights you have under the law.
12. Promotions, free credits and rewards
Vistra may offer free credits, promotional codes, advertising rewards, referral programmes or other offers.
Unless the conditions of the programme say otherwise:
- offers cannot be exchanged for cash;
- they may not be sold or transferred;
- each person, device or account may be limited in how many times it can claim;
- Vistra may refuse to grant, or may reclaim, rewards obtained through fraud, bots, impersonation or multiple accounts;
- a programme may have its own published period and conditions.
Vistra may end or change a promotional programme for future participation where necessary, without affecting rights already accrued that the law requires to be honoured.
13. Advertising
Vistra may display advertising, including advertising from Google AdMob and from sponsors or partners.
An advertisement appearing in Vistra does not mean Vistra guarantees or endorses the quality of the advertiser's products or services. Your interaction, purchase or dealing with an advertiser may create a separate relationship between you and that advertiser. Vistra is not responsible for transactions between you and an advertiser, to the extent permitted by law.
14. Availability and changes to the Service
Vistra tries to keep the service stable but does not promise that the Service will run continuously, without errors, or always be compatible with every website, device or operating system version.
The Service may be interrupted by:
- maintenance or updates;
- software or hardware faults;
- Internet or carrier incidents;
- AI, OCR or infrastructure incidents;
- cyber attacks;
- legal requirements;
- events outside reasonable control.
Vistra may add, modify, replace or discontinue a feature for technical, security, legal or business reasons. If a change materially affects a paid entitlement you have purchased and not fully used, Vistra will handle it consistently with the Payment Policy and applicable law.
15. Vistra's intellectual property
Vistra and its licensors retain all lawful rights in the Vistra name, logo, the interface designed by Vistra, source code, server code, APIs, databases created by Vistra, processing systems, documentation, designs and software components belonging to Vistra.
Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of those assets to you. You may not use the Vistra brand in a way that misleads others into thinking you represent, are sponsored by or have an official relationship with Vistra without permission.
16. Suspension and termination
You can stop using Vistra at any time and delete your account under Settings → Account → Delete account, or by following the instructions at Delete account.
When an account is deleted, the credits and entitlements tied to that account may no longer be usable, unless the law or the Payment Policy requires otherwise.
Vistra may temporarily restrict, suspend or terminate access where it has reasonable grounds to believe that:
- you have seriously or repeatedly breached these Terms;
- the account is connected to payment fraud;
- you are exploiting vulnerabilities or attacking the system;
- you are deliberately circumventing quotas or the credit accounting mechanism;
- you are using multiple accounts to obtain benefits contrary to a programme's conditions;
- continuing to provide the Service creates a material risk to the system or to other users;
- suspension is necessary to comply with the law or with a request from a competent authority.
Where necessary to stop ongoing harm, Vistra may apply a restriction immediately. Where appropriate, and where it does not compromise security or a fraud investigation, Vistra will try to tell you the reason.
17. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Vistra is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Vistra does not promise that:
- every website will be compatible;
- every translation will be accurate;
- OCR will always recognise text correctly;
- AI will always produce suitable results;
- the Service will run continuously;
- every fault can be fixed immediately.
You are responsible for evaluating results before relying on them to make a decision.
To the extent permitted by law, Vistra is not liable for damage arising from:
- the content or behaviour of third-party websites outside Vistra's control;
- decisions made solely on the basis of a translation or AI result;
- use of Vistra that is unlawful or contrary to these Terms;
- software or services not under Vistra's control;
- Internet or external system outages beyond Vistra's reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that the law requires Vistra to bear, or to limit consumer rights that the law does not allow to be waived.
18. Events beyond reasonable control
Vistra is not treated as being in breach merely because performance is delayed or prevented by an event beyond its reasonable control, such as: natural disaster, war, widespread Internet or data-centre failure, widespread power loss, acts of state authorities, critical infrastructure failure, or other force majeure events under the law.
This does not exclude obligations that the law still requires Vistra to perform.
19. Changes to these Terms
Vistra may update these Terms to reflect product changes, new features, changes to payment methods, security requirements, changes in law, or changes to platform policies.
The effective date of the current version is shown at the top of the Terms. For material changes affecting your rights or obligations, Vistra will give notice by a reasonable means, such as a notice inside the App.
Changes do not remove rights you have already accrued from an earlier transaction where the law requires those rights to be honoured.
20. Privacy
The collection, use, storage and processing of personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy, which should be read together with these Terms.
21. Complaints and disputes
If you have a problem relating to your account, a payment or the Service, you can contact Vistra so that we can look into it and help resolve it.
The parties are encouraged to resolve disputes through good-faith negotiation. If that is not possible, a dispute may be handled by the methods and before the competent authorities provided for by applicable law.
Nothing in this document limits your lawful right to complain, to ask a competent authority to resolve a matter, or to bring legal proceedings.
22. Severability
If a term, or part of a term, of these Terms is held by a competent authority to be unlawful or unenforceable, that part will be dealt with to the extent permitted by law and will not automatically invalidate the remainder.
Vistra not exercising a right at a given time does not mean it waives that right in the future.
23. Order of precedence
These Terms are read together with:
- the Privacy Policy;
- the AI Policy;
- the Payment Policy;
- the specific conditions shown on the purchase or promotion screen.
If there is a conflict concerning a specific transaction, the information clearly provided to you at the time of that transaction and the mandatory provisions of law will apply to the corresponding extent.
